Our People
Jonathan Deatherage
Since 2007, Jonathan has been offering support in media and communications. After completing a Bachelors’ in English at Texas A&M University in 2002, his love for the Bible and for languages led him to pursue further training at Dallas Theological Seminary. While there he served at a church, helping with event promotion. There he rediscovered his love for art through graphic design, and began applying his English degree, thus leading him to the field of media and communications.
After graduating from DTS in 2011 with a Masters in Media & Communications (and an MA in Biblical Studies as well), he went on to lead communication teams in the church and non-profit world, helping them to clarify their core messaging, streamline their processes, reach donors, improve their digital presence on web and social media, and facilitate interdepartmental collaboration.
From 2020-2024, Jonathan had the privilege of working with churches and non-profits around the country, offering consultation and digital solutions to help them grow through his time at a SaaS company that serves churches.
Through Archgate Media, he has the opportunity to continue that work, serving churches, non-profits, and even small businesses—helping them bring to life their vision in online spaces.
